So after their lighting cycle last night we put Afgooey 1, BlueberryKush1, Jack the Ripper 2, Querkle 2, and Odyssey 2 into darkness and kept them in darkness until about thirty minutes ago when we chopped em down. Always a little impatient so i never seem to do the 'full 24 hours' of darkness period lol. Most of the pics are of Querkle because my phone battery was low, so im charging it. More of the other strains will be up soon. There's an Odyssey and Afgooey pic too.

thanks man. so the querkle smells like pure dog shit after we chopped it and hung it up. i couldnt believe how bad it smelled. i mean i kept smelling it for some reason. but it honestly was not a GOOD smelling strain in anyway. but thats also not a bad thing.. after we trimmed it the smell totally changed. no longer smelled like some1 stepped in dog shit and paced back and forth in my room.

Right on man. Glad it turned out cool. Such nice lookin buds. Happy about my Oddysee. She is starting to fan out a little more. She seems happy. I also added a strain to the mix. Got a Mendocino Purple baby. Tall stringy thing that was all bent over. She is starting to straighten a little already. Had all kinds of issues recently. But I'm up to 6 different strains. Can't wait to grow a grip. Let us know how it turns out. Peace.

So here's the rest of the pics- the 5 other plants buds have dried almost completely, put em in paper bags to draw out the rest of the moisture then will have a final weight. so here's the pics

Damn nice grow. bud porn is just sick. Your strain choices were very good. Wish I had the guts to try some many different strains at once.

By the way, I read you have a hood on the 400w.I am starting a closet grow soon. Did you need to exhaust the closet heat/smell outside of the apartment (window or bath exhaust duct) or did you deal with it inside of the apartment? I remember you were talking about fans and squirrel cage fans but I never read how you dealt with the majority of the heat exhaust from fan/smell during later stage growth?

Thanks
Stick

We live in a house, not an apartment so smell control would probably differ- we didn't have to do anything this time around but have been thinking of investing in a charcoal filter, which you should too. As for cooling- i have an A/C in the room and a inline fan hooked up to my 400w hood just blowing it out of the closet. its nothing special. i actually plan on investing into a new fan of some sort soon. with the fan hooked up i can touch the glass under the bulb. which i couldnt even try before.

i am not going to be doing a grow journal right away. i was thinking about doing single strain grow journals for a second. ill take some shots of grape rom for u today and post em either on here or make a new strain journal. and id post that link. thanks for sticking around pipe dream. but ya the grape rom is about 12 days into flowering. i flowered at 18'' ( probably was a mistake) and now it is about 35'' or so its by far the tallest in my grow. the next closest is Mr. Nice at 33''.

Alright, so like i promised i guess i will post these smoke reports, although i must say that i enjoy smoking the bud a lot more than writing about it.

Strain: Afgooey
Growth: Afgooey got to be maybe two to two and a half feet tall, with giant indica dominant leaves, fat and wide with a very dark green color. A lot of side branching, a lot of bud sites.
Nutes: For nutrients with all of our plants this grow we used the technaflora line, along with House and Garden's Shooting Powder at the end of flowering.
Bag Appeal: The Afgooey is an absolutely beautiful bud, covered with trichs. Its an okay density, definitely not a rock but not airy either. Light green bud covered with trichs and small light orange hairs. Frostiest.
Smell: The Afgooey smells really connoiseur, a creamy vanilla smell with a little spice to it. Definitely appealing.
Taste: The Afgooey tastes like it smells, pretty much exact.
The High: The high of Afgooey isn't too impressive, but definitely isn't bad either. Both head and body high, it's very calming and relaxing but not overpowering.
Comments: This strain is really nice, and the bag appeal is amazing, but i probably wouldn't grow it again simply because its just an average strain. I guarantee there are better one's out there.

Strain: Jack the Ripper.
Growth: I believe we flowered the JTR at like 18 inches, and it grew to be probably three and a half feet tall. The nodes were spread widely, very thin serrated dark green leaves. The trichomes didnt really start showing up until about week 5, which disappointed me for the hype Subcool talked about this strain in big book of buds 3. The buds were very airy while they were growing, and this girl probably had the longest craziest hairs i've seen, stickin straight up.
Nutes: Same as other.
Bag Appeal: After drying and curing the JTR did shrink more than any other bud i've seen, and ended up not being too airy of a bud. Bag appeal isnt too great though, the buds are just covered in this thick mass of dark orange hairs, and kinda just looks like decent outdoor, which i do not want in my final product of indoor plants.
Smell: This is her strongest category, the lemony citrusy smell on this girl is outrageous, the strongest ive smelt on a bud. Right when you open the bag/jar you are hit with the pungent zest of lemons.
Taste: The exact same as the smell, a crazy powerful lemon taste that hits you right away.
The High: This bud is supposed to be a crazy sativa high, and the first time i smoked it after it being cured i was up alone at about 4 in the morning trying to get myself to go to sleep. I hit my Sheldon Black bong about twice, and went and laid down. As i laid there i began to hear noises, and every little creak seemed amplified. I had to get up about ten times to check things out. but ever since that time, every time i smoke this bud i get so completely ripped that i have to pass out. My eyelids just wont stay open anymore.
Comments: Although the thc potency in this plant is super high, i wouldnt grow it again. I felt lied to by the breeder and the information that i looked up, and i dont know if i just got the shitty phenotype or what, but i was expecting much much more out of this plant.

Strain: Querkle
Growth: The Querkle was a very short plant, flowered at 12 inches it MAYBE reached two feet. The buds grow in a tight cola along the main brach, with only a few side branches. Began to purple around week 7, purpled much more when allowed to flower to 9 weeks.
Nutes: Same as others.
Bag Appeal: I thought the Querkle had really nice appeal. They were very dense light green buds, with little hints of purple on the upper buds, and bright orange hairs. Pretty frosty in my opinion.
Smell: This plant smelled like rotting fruit the entire time we grew it, and lost its smell at about week 5. We've been curing it for a while now and the smell is kinda just this shit smell.. kind of hashy. Definitely not grape. We'll see if curing it longer does anything.
Taste: The taste right now isn't too much, just a kind of harsh hashyness to it.
The High: This smoke is a really big lung expander when you hit it, i cough basically every time. This is a really heavy indica high, heavy eyelids, relaxed body, feelin the stupidity settle in haha.
Comments: A little disappointed in this one as well, same breeder as jack the ripper, they say it yields 3 to 4 ounces. not even close! but is really great smelling while growing and a really pretty bud.

Strain: Odyssey
Growth: The Odyssey we got had initially been vegged in hydro and we transplanted it to soil when flowering came, so there wasn't much foliage in the beginning but grew into a nice tall plant, most of the bud at the top in the cola and in side braches that stretched up towards the top and surrounding the cola.
Nutes: same as others.
Bag Appeal: This is my favorite looking bud. It is this crazy light sea foam green color with dark green spots all over it [leaves], orange hairs but there aren't many hairs on it at all, the bud is mostly just big swollen calyxes covered in trichomes.
Smell: I love the smell of this one, it seriously is tangy sour tangerine/orange/mago/lemon smelling. Sooooooo delicious. And super strong. Every time i touched this plant while flowering i just had the urge to lick my fingers cuz it just seemed that smelling that good it should taste amazing haha.
Taste: The taste is even better than it smells, very tangy fruity citrusy, hits you immediately on your tongue.
The High: The Odyssey high literally lasts for hours upon hours, but this high is really nice because you can still get stuff done and not feel like an imbecile. Its a nice social buzzy high, but strong enough where you definitely are stoned.
Comments: This bud is my favorite. All of the categories combined, it definitely takes MY vote. But everyone has their preferences. I would like to grow this plant out again, this time all the way through in soil to see if the yield outcome is different.

Strain: Blueberry Kush
Growth: The blueberry kush grew strong the entire time, a huge thick stalk and tons of side branching that came up to reach the same heighth as the top of the plant, giving it all around really good light- which im assuming is why it was our biggest yielder. The cola on this baby was the weirdest i have seen, the top would grow up in a whole bunch of different places, making the top of the cola really bumpy looking. Its hard to explain lol. The leaves had a light green tint the entire time.
Nutes: same
Bag Appeal: The blueberry kush has amazing appeal, light green buds covered in frost with light tan covered hairs sticking out of the tops of all of the calyxes. Had the biggest buds, with nice density to them. Anyone would be happy to find this strain in their bag.
Smell: This plant definitely has the kush smell, no doubt about it. Very hashy all throughout the grow. After curing the smell takes on a little creamier side, but still has the definite hashiness that most kush's possess.
Taste: Very spicy peppery, with a hint of vanilla that makes it a really smoothe hit. Love this combination of tastes.
The High: The high of the blueberry kush is amazing, very indica body high; makes you feel heavy, sleepy. It's also a giggler, makes you bust up laughing at nothing, or unable to wipe a smile off of your face. This is my wake and bake choice.

Im at work right now and do not know the yields off the top of my head, but will add them in when i get home.
