My Rooms Almost Done jUst need a little more advice

Hey everyone,

Ok so i have been building a marijuana cabinet for sometime now and i finally finished the construction.
Ive designed it with 3 areas
1) a 3'x4' area for main growing which i will be using a 400W HPS light.
2) a mother area which i dont know what to use for lighting..... i want to cheap out on this because i need to keep this grow under 1000W.
3)and my clone area which is the same size as my mother area just half 1/3 of the height. I would like cheap efficent lighting for the clones.

What should i use for lighting? I want them to have enough lumens and grow good but i gotta watch my watts/amps because if the breaker ever goes my crop will be ruined.

Right now all my plants are still in my closet grow.
I got 3 New White Widow and 2 Blue Tooth there all 20-30 inches tall.

Sounds pretty sweet.

I would put CFL's in your clone area, and either CFLs, T5s, or PLLs in the mother cabinet. That will give you great veg lighting and keep you well under a 1000w. If you really wanted to veg big plants you could step up to a 150w or 250w CMH bulb for the mother area - this assumes you could keep bonsai mothers and use the same cab for bigger growth. Like cloner=>put clone in 16 ounce cup under CFL=> transplant to 1 or 3 gallon containers and veg in mother space => transplant again or flower directly under 400w.

That's what I do:

Clones in humidity dome with 2 X 23 watt CFL's
Veg in veg box with 4 CFL's & 2 20watt fluorescent
Flower under 400 watt HPS in a 3 X 4 X 6 box
