damn a cup of water each everyday!!!!!!! thats way to much you want to water it only when it is pretty dry @ every 2 days and not near as much just get the soil moist. you might want to think about buying a moisture meter they cost 8 bucks at walmart. its much harder to under water than it is to overwater, you can drown a plant very easily, lay off the water you might be alright
