everything has been going great....

my plants are about 12-14 inches tall.....1000 watt high pressure sodium light....38 inches away from plants.....window in room for circulation....fan constantly going.....i just starting giving them nutes about 10 days ago....i give them a tea spoon per liter of ROOT JUICE and omri bio - grow liquid fertilizer (1.8 -0.1- 6.6) ....right now im currently giving the plants 18/6 for a light cycle.....and now all of my plants are drooping....leaves are shriveled and dry....and the bottom leaves on most of the plants are yellow....with some brown rotting spots.....the top leaves look decent(although still a droopy and dry) the color is still somewhat of a dark green...but you can tell the yellowness is spreading....

my plants have like a lime-yellow tint to them and im really starting to get worried. also upon further examination i noticed that most of my plants have red/purple stems.....ive been doing some research about that and some peopel say its normal....others say its some sort of deficiency....

i have to save my babies......and no i have no pics......i get paranoid posting pics on these sites.....but anyways.....any recomendations or info would be greatly appreciated... thanks

well everyone is saying its either over watering/feeding or underwater/feeding...

so let me asyou this....

how often should i be watering them?

and dont reply with "use the finger test" or "get a water meter"

if i go 2-3 inches deep with the meter its always right in the middle...alittle on the dry side....but in some of the buckets when i push the meter all the way to the bottom......its really moist....but then ill put the meter in the same bucket.....push it all the way down on the other side...and it will say its dry......so im really confused....

i have drilled tons of holes at the botton of all buckets for drainage.....i mean i really dont know what to do here....

another question.....everytime i water them should i be giving them the nutes??

please help :(

give them 50ml of water in the morning then 100ml at night when lights go off. your plants aren't getting enough nitrogen. so give them a veg fertilizer. the root juice is for flowering. so just water in the morning and a veg fertilizer at night. use the root juice when you go 12/12 for flowering.

Well I am really new to this but I had a similar problem when I first started I mean days in. I was using really garbage soil (Hyponex) and I didn't add vermiculite or perlite so I had really bad drainage (in the soil not the pot), so the top would be really dry and the bottom was really moist. Since I don't have x-ray vision to see where my roots were I watered them TWICE once when they first got in the pot and again 4 days or so later and the leaves started drooping and turning yellow from the tips in and from the bottom up. I transplanted to new soil with perlite and vermiculite mixed in a few days later and the change was almost instant. Also when I pulled my plants out the bottom layer of soil was very wet and clumped on the roots thus giving the effect of over watering. Basically if what other people are telling you isn't working you may want to evaluate how good your soil is and re-pot in better soil. I don't however know why this would be the first time you had this problem unless the roots just had not made it to the very wet soil, if drainage was the problem. You said dry on top wet on bottom thats why it sounds like you should have added something to the soil for drainage to me. Also bottom to top of the plant indicates there is a problem with the roots whether that be over watering or nutes. Let us know if you figure out the problem.

I agree with everything. But you also want to think about laying off the nutes for a bit and let the plant dry a bit as to add more oxygen to the roots. Then when you water again use only water and if you feel the plants are stressed I highly roccomend superthrive. I love that shit!

Take a deep breath and learn from all of this and keep going it will be fine. The plant wants to grow. It was made to grow. So that is one thing you have going for you./

not sure but i dont think you want to put em to bed wet it may cause pwdery mildew or somthin like that i mist whith enough light left for em to dry before they go to bed and not when flowering

There are two things "bad" things about misting that I have read about one is that they can be like little magnifying glasses if you have a really intense light and burn up your plants(never have seen it but I've read it) two is that without proper ventilation I.E. a fan you can get mold. You said you mist right before the lights go out so if you have a fan you should be fine I would think but I am new to this so you may want to wait for someone with more experience...but really I don't think you would do it any harm, it would be like dew in the morning outside, ya know. I personally mist every few days just to make sure the leaves stay free of dust and such.
