My plant is sweating lol what's up with this?

I came in my room just as the lights turned on and it appears my plant was perspiring or something. There was beads of water all over it. Why is it doing this and is it a bad thing?



It got lots of water the day before and the remaining space was in the pot, like half inch was topped up with perlite. Could this be from overwatering?

Its called dew...and it happens outside too when theres alot of moisture in the air.

Could be...your plant does appear overwatered but it's more likely lack of ventilation and/or high humidity. I have to run a dehumidifier in my grow area 24/7 which should help your moisture issues. Plus it's a free supply of distilled water for your plants if you keep it nice & clean.
Also be sure you've got good airflow in there- they should always be swaying from air circulating around them. See if you can go to a larger pot which could help keep you from having to water as much; should be able to go 2-3 days without wilting. If not your plant needs a bigger container.

i must say, that sure is a beautiful photograph of water droplets on the leaves.
