I just gave my plants some "superthrive" last night and now its leaves are drooping by the end of its 18hours of light today. What is the problem?

Miracle grow seed starter is what I've had them in. I haven't added any extra nutes except for this Superthrive. The temp is at a steady 85 degrees. They are 13 days from sprout. Any feed back would help!

I've also been misting my plants with a couple of drops of superthrive mixed with the water in the bottle. Is this healthy for the plant?

Not all the time. Moderation, personally I use thrive alive, when the plant goes through stress. I try to stay away from giving nutrients to young plants. Let them adapt first, then boost them. How often do you water? And when you mist make sure to mist underneath the leaves.

Never used miracle grow, is the seedling starter soil quite hot with nutrients?

Whater schedule has been about 2-3 days. When ever I saw the top was getting pretty dry. But I just transplanted it from a peat moss cup. When I did it one long root came off durring the transplant. Would that stress the plant bad? I know I could have just stuck the peat moss cup right into the soil but I decided otherwise. I give it alot of good fan air inside my closet so i rule that factor out. But what should I do to get these leaves perking?

The ingrediants to thte back of my miracle grow are "this product is formulated from 90-95% sphagnum peatmoss, perlite, fertilizer and wetting agent.

Nitrogen 0.05
0.02 ammoniacal nitrogen
0.03 nitrate nitrogen
phosphate 0.01
soluble potash 0.05"

Water your plant when the pot is nearly dry. This will help the roots develop deeper, because they search for the water.

A good way to tell if your plant needs water is, the weight of the pot. This will help you determine whether is it a good idea to water or not.

so will they become healthier within the next couple of days if I don't water?

Just relax, and water your plant when you think it is light enough and feels pretty dry. Then lightly water your plant , then soak the plant making sure to get that water all the way to the bottom. Be sure to Ph the water as well. :D

I don't have a ph gauge. So if there is just a mixture that youo know is ph regulated then I'm out of luck untill I can get one.

Use distilled water, has a ph around, 6.5. That is what I would suggest.

Although bottled water costs money. Ph meter's/test kits are essential. You are just guessing and praying. Get the basics down. Read the grow faq, again. :O

^^ ur plant is at its most vulnerable stage... if ur gunna add nutes using Mg soil wait atleast 30 days... using only water for the first 30 days

organic pro mix, mushroom manure, green sand, bat guano, added microbes and tiny bit of worm castings. Mg sucks, I like natural. So I stand by what i say, Mg sucks
