my new grow box

well here we go first i would like to thank this site for all the good ideas. reading all this stuff the past few days got me to make this DWC set up. some of the pics are my old set up. the 2 plants in the back came out of dirt and in to the DWC. well what do you guys think?? it stays alittle under 80deg in there. i thank you now for any good info.

hahaha....looks good man. Is your old set-up the first two pics? What type of lights do you have atatched to the walls? They seem to be a pretty good idea for side lighting.

The only thing I noticed was in pic 4, it looks like a bit of light leak on the door's hinge that you could seal up....unless it just looks that way in the pic (maybe shiny tape???)

ya it is letting out some light but im not going to worry till flowering stage.

no ones said anything about the tin foil??:S
it has very bad reflection proprties and reflects light at odd angles and creates hotspots,
the best thing you can use is mylar, somthing better for you i would suggest some white bristal board its a bit easyer than painting that way

yes, i do know that tin foil is bad but its what i got for now. i plan on getting some mylar asap.for now the tin will have to work. i do know to use less shinier side of the tin to help not have hot spots. thank you for looking out for me potsmoker420. ;-)

think about using a large tub instead of the bucket maybe 16 gal to give the roots more space to grow resulting in bigger plants bigger buds

i would love to but room is an issue. so i used the bucket to hope for smaller plants.

the room doesnt look that bad you could grow some nice sized plants in there but it might take up the whole space

you are so right and i so want to but i rent. we have been here for 2 years. this will be are 3rd year and the landlord said that he is going to try and sell the house next year around this time. i had a nice room in the basement for the first year till my son was born then i stopped for a year.i still have both 1000w MH and HPS, CO2 gen, feeding timers, ect. well you can see my toys here: https://www.rollitup.org/introduce-yourself/210428-hello-heads.html the pics are in my 2nd post.
