Wtf is going on?
The ppm on one is 550...straight tap water....but the other one is staying at 200 w nutes. I've done 2 - half reservoir changes and a full one this morning. Came home from work and it's at 550....
Any help is greatly appreciated. :(

they both need nutes. 550 is pretty high and that's just water?

the rust spots are Ca defic and i also see early Mg defic.

how's your pH? and your meter is accurate?

what nutes+ additives?

I'm scares to put anything in the bucket bc of how high it is. There is only phd water and some stuff to prevent root rot....nothing else
But the other one is staying around 200 and has the flora series in it....makes no sense to me. It's not the meter, bc I've used 2 different meters.

how well did you wash the hydroton?

the 200 one looks fine. i wouldn't mess with it.

i would dump the other one and refill. something is leeching in to it.

Dude, I freaking washed them and soaked them in phd water for 24 hrs. Plus it's the same batch of hydroton as the other plant. It was all soaked and washed together. I was going to try that next though. Just seems like it isn't that, since they r from the same batch as the other. So frustrating!
I appreciate ur help!

Well, here r w these 2 naughty ones. After my last dose of peroxide, I didn't touch them for like a week. I left them running though, but truly thought there was no way they would pull through.
One still isn't as healthy as I would like, but maybe it'll be aight.

They got topped the other day prior to me going out of town. Still having root issues though. Hopefully can get rid of it once I get back home!

New growth coming in pretty good. I need to do some research on topping the second time. I can't remember how long to wait. Any advice would be appreciated!
Roots on the bottom pic are completely better and looking awesome, but the top one still has a bit a few spots of slime. I'm going to give them res changes today, so hopefully that will clear up the rest of it.

Can't decide if I wanna try out the scrog (being that they r bag seeds and I'm not 100% sure if they will be girls.)....but the other part of me says F it and just do it for the practice. What do y'all think?

I always hand water seedlings in DWC before even introducing them to the system. Just drain to waste in an empty bucket.

Like @rkymtnman mentioned you want them too seek out water. Overwatering is very common in DWC with people starting seeds directly in the system. Running to high water levels saturating the medium.

This is the same day before I introduced them to the system running water and aeration in the buckets. Just hand watering up until this point. Cheers!

Yea that's what a friend on another forum told me. I have 3 autos down now, that I'm top feeding prior to putting them in the buckets. Appreciate the advice!
