If it's your av pic, looks good but I'd raise that light - looks like it'll fry that poor lil' baby. I've heard of people wanting to "kill a cracka baby" recently, but not kill a fresh cracked lady! JK. Good luck.

not sure what happend with my pics.there up now.plants look close to the light because of the angle of the pic.there actualy about 2 or 3 inches away.

I guess you can move your pots down..might want to make some kind of reflector for top of light...happy growing

yeh was thinking about a reflector of some sort.any ideas anyone? im going 12/12 from seed so hight shouldnt be a prob. just harvested 2 kandy kush 12/12 from seed in this box.they were roughly 12 inches high with lst.but that was with 6 cfls.cant wait to see what the new light will do!!!!

An easy reflector I've seen made was some sheetmetal ducting, the kind you have to snap together, I think 6". You take a length of it and flex it out until it is U shaped - viola a reflector. They were also talking about polishing it to make it more reflective with turtle wax. Sorry I'm kinda sketchy on the details, but it was on RIU in a post about making a cheap cabinet if you want to try and look it up.

ah thats got me thinking.think iv got some old stove pipe around that would work great i think.thanks for the idea sparkabowl.

Looks nice, hope u get some good smoke!! One thing i did notice, and I am not trying to bash your setup. I have a 150w HPS security light i ripped apart, was going to do the same thing. Then i read it used 3.2 AMPS!!! It also, only had an ignitor and no capacitor. Then i found a thread on here, talking about that ballast.

So i calculated it, If i have 120vac incoming, it uses 3.2 amps of power to burn a 150w HPS bulb....holy $hit, that's 384 watts!!!!!! I would imagine the real usage would be around 300-330watts, but that one got scrapped completely.

Good luck!!!
