My most disappointing grow yet :(

Switched from autos to photos. Autos did go very well for me as a newbie but I decided to go to photos for several reasons, the biggest being that autos are so unpredictable. My light was to strong, i cooked them a bit. And I underfed. But i think we are going to be ok.

So these were my photos the day i flipped to 12/12

I then proceeded to let them get extremely deficient (These girls are so much hungrier than autos) especially the two in the back which were from seed the others are clones.

When i realized how deficient some of them were becoming i hit those hard with organic top dress and added bottled nutes to my water as well for the ones that werent starving yet. Made a pretty good recovery over the next couple weeks but a couple of them took some major damage. The flowers themselves are looking good and i feel like a lot of growers would have defoliated most of the fan leaves that took the major damage....You guys think these still have a chance to turn out decent?

Most of the clones look fantastic.

To me, it looks like 3-6 weeks to harvest for most of them. Ill have to get a pic of the whole tent tonight, haven't taken one in a couple weeks.

My plan for next grow is 4 plants, 20 gallon fabric pots, same 5x5 tent.

I think they'll be fine. Organics is a little tricky. There's a learning curve. I haven't mastered it either yet. I've had worse looking plants.

You guys think they will still turn out decent? I think its looking like a run that was well worth doing... Learned a lot and it will still be some good smoke.

I've seen a lot worse. In my own grow rooms too. lol

When did you actually flip to flower? You don't mention a date. They look like they have a few weeks to go so I can see a pound there easy. I usually trim real close to the bud so my bud weights are lower than most and I get almost as much sugar trim/popcorn by weight as I do buds. I like making lots of dry-sift, oils and edibles too so it works out for me. :)

I'm just getting into doing some auto fems myself but not for indoorgrowing so much as having lots of seeds for outdoor next year. Power is too expensive here to run big HIDs 18 hours/day to flower plants. I've been doing photos the last 20 years here.

:peace:

I've had n defiency that early and they were fine. Getting some of the green back is already a good step they wont get back to green but you can keep up enough for them to finish

I flipped to 12/12 on 6/1. Theyve been "in flower" for about 4 weeks. Im guessing 4-6 more weeks on them. Its a 5x5 tent with a double end bulb running at 825w so basically same as a single ended hortilux 1000; if I only got a pound I'll be pretty depressed.

I think they were deficient on just about everything in the book. Hitting them hard with dry amendments and liquid stuff every other watering so i should be good now.

I count the weight of hash as yield too..... last run i had 4oz of dry ice hash :)

I aim conservatively so knowing I get 2 - 3oz dry bud per plant growing in soilless with hydro nutes plus near the same in sugar when all goes well I figured you should get a pound of each from those even with the struggles.

I can double that with DWC and even triple it with DWC ScroG so it's all good. :)

As @Gemtree mentioned above Epsom Salts can help with resin production and with some extra K can plump the buds up more too. Sulphur is the 'secret' ingredient for most bud boosters. I love my Big Bud!

You show a Nitrogen and a Potassium deficiency, I don't see much sulfur deficit but @Dr. Who would differ with me (I miss him so). I grow hydro so I can't tell you how to fix it but whatever you add make sure it is as a sulphate. You'll lose a little yield but they'll come through fine, nice grow and I should be upstairs chopping, maybe tomorrow LOL.

You're just going into the bulking up stage and it sounds like you've got a handle on them now.
So long as you keep them well fed and happy I think you'll have a nice big harvest.

Im no expert but i dont really see sulfur either. Nitrogen and Potassium for sure. I hit them with a bunch of 5-5-5 dry amendment. And ive been feeding them almost a full dose of the general hydro gro and bloom. I also hit them with a big dose of 3-7-4 dry amendment on monday. I feel like the leaves that took the most damage are large fan leaves that a lot of growers would have already cut off so hopefully they acted like a battery keeping them charged until i started heavy feeding. Also the GH flora bloom has sulfur. Its not a massive dose of it but should be enough to keep them out of the "severely deficient zone"

Don't hit them too hard or you could go from one extreme to another.

Dry ice hash is what I use all my trim for. I cut the main cola's and secondaries then everything else
is dry Ice hash material.

Thats a lotta ice hash but it makes sense.... little buds suck.

Im still keeping it reasonable, i should be far far away from nute burn. Top dressing only goes so far...

This ones getting dark green but thats how she was when she was young n healthy.
