The fact that the parents took the kid to the hospital after she threw up makes me think they were feeling pretty guilty about putting soap in her mouth - if they were feeling guilty, then they KNEW it was something they shouldn't have done.
Anyway, parents do worse shit than this to kids all the time. I saw a man in the grocery store one punch his kid (who was probably 4 or 5) right in the head, call the kid a "stupid retard", and then told the kid to "stop whining" when he started crying.
It took everything in my power not to go grab that little boy and take him out of the store with me.

Slapping, yelling, you name it. They act like they are at home. If they do that in public I feel sorry for what those children must endure at home.
And vomiting? What type of toxic soap do these people keep in their homes? I've known plenty of people who had to stand with soap in their mouths for up to 5-10 minutes. FYI to all you future parents, only use organic soap, probably tastes nastier anyway.

why do we put our kids in these shells. no more keeping score at games don't want any losers. don't whip your kids it will screw them up for life. i remember pain being a very good teacher. if something hurt ethier i didn't do it again or i became real good at it. if i lost a football game or something it made me try harder so i could win the next one. we are the reason our kids are so wussified.

No BS there at all.
The state THINKS it owns the kids ... but a new dawn is coming down the pike and all hell will break loose. I honestly think that all this fell-good-liberalism is going to come to an end. If the Congress & Senate push though the health care bill without a 60 vote majority and Obama signs it into law, I think the hell breaking loose will come sooner rather than later.

It took my stepchildren about a month of me actually doing what I said I would before they realized I wasn't fucking around. Never had another problem in three years. They listen and are respectful to there elders. They don't lie any more and we have a great relationship! I love the boys to death but refuse to let them get away with shit. They know if I tell them once I won't tell them again. I just start taking all the cool shit they have and make them volunteer at school as punishment and the nuns work em.. They don't step out of line often. I haven't spanked a kid in over 2 years.

I said it 10 years ago, with discipline being deemed wrong good luck with the kids that come out of the time out generation. You duke it out on the playground you get expelled, everything now is aimed at suppressing normal behavior in kids. Either you are creating soft kids who will have no real drive, or violent kids who find a way to vent one way or another.

Fuck yes I have been whipped with a switch. I had to go cut the fuckers too! You did not want to come back with one too small either or pops would go find one and come back with half a fuckin tree.
