My Mescaline expectations

So i have 3 attempts @ dosing trichocereus species. Pedro twice, and Peruvianus once. All three were a bust, and I'm not sure why. (Probably, the online sources are just weak in alkaloids, ime. anyway). I still have 25g of Trichocereus Bridgesii powder ( from a new source) that I'm trying to "sneak up on". I made a "tea" (boiled cactus in acidified H2o ), strained and drank. I used a 14" cutting of S.P. for this and ended up having muscle-spasms and jaw-clenching
for 10 hrs afterwards. I didn't get ANY of the fabled (pleasant) Mescaline threshold dose, instead, I felt like Shit until late the next morning. What should I be expecting from a cactus which ACTUALLY Contains Mescaline?
Can someone please describe the "come up" effects for me? I've read reports on Erowid, but am trying to figure out why the hell I just CAN"T seem to get a cutting that Actually contains mescaline. I've bought PT powder, T.Brigdesii Skins, and S.P. cutting and took them all in "adequate" doses - ie. 35g powder, 14" fresh cutting made into a tea, etc. Is it possible (probable) that these online sources are just selling BUNK? - Opinions?

you are doing everything you can to avoid the obvious. Buy enough to do a true a b extraction and know exactly how much you are taking.

I think the extraction is unnessary , 1 less variable for the OP

Also make sure to give 4-5 weeks between attempts

we don't agree. He will know exactly what and how much he is taking. Choking down ounces of weak ass crap is no way to get to that place.

Canndo- You do have a point. I hate choking down cacti as much as the next guy, but an a b extraction calls for equipment that I can't invest in atm. I've "choked down" 10g of nasty powdered P.Cubensis a time or two, so I was thinking it will be possible to down the 25g of cacti in a similar fashion. IF my cutting contains Mesc, then i should get a threshold dose (which is really all i'm hoping for) -with the material @ hand. Seems like i'm down to 2 choices... encapsulate or not :neutral:

Not much equipment, most can be bought at second hand stores for less than 5$ , to do a bare bones

The only thing thats expensive is PH pappers 5/10 $$, but their are DIY versions that work well enouth

Chemicals are a bit more thow

Yeah, the overall expense is a bit more than I can venture into atm. hence i am probably just going to down the powder the old fashioned way and hope for the best.

The kids are going on vacation in 2 weeks, so I will Finally (!!) be able to dose my powdered cutting :-P

Check out my new 'yotes Rory... they are completely spherical, like little bb pellets. Last time (same vendor) my seedlings grew more oblong vertically. Both times, it's L.W.

The mini-greenhouse has 30 or so healthy seedlings, looking like someone shot the surface with green bb's :smile:

. They get only indirect light and are loving it so far. I take the humidity dome off once a week for a few minutes, so they gradually become accustomed to their natural environment.

i need to get some going but i cant find time..i found a friend with an a frame house who will let me put em in a big picture window.hundreds of other plants./cacti for company..but,all the other plants im around keep me pre occupied!lol..
