why is my little plant so tall already? did i do something wrong? should i bury it deeper in the soil?

yea but a plant will bend towards the light regardless of size right? its the plants natural reaction

2 inches away from the light.... dont let it touch. you will need to change as the plant changes

will the stem be ok or is it going to become too weak once the plant puts on some mass up top?

Depends how hot it is on the plants too. Watch for heat burn when puttin lights in new positions.
