My little Closet setup

Alright heres a few pics of my setup in my closet.
The pic of the leaf up close has a yellow tip.Does anyone know what might have caused this. I was thinking the lighting was to close and may have burned it. I just set it up this way today though.The lights were a lot closer.
i dunno.

looks like nute burn on a plant way too young for nutes. are you using nutes or do you have soil with nutes in it?

it must have nutes in it? I didn't add anything to the soil that I bought?What should I do about this?

I think u misunderstood. A plant than young does not need any nutes, generally they don't need em till thy're 3-4wks. What is this soil u speak of? It may be the cause of ur problem. Also, what's the temps in there, at plant level?

Yeah the single light is soft. I found it in my basement, I thought I would add it for extra light. Should I get rid of it or maybe replace it?

If u can, replace it with a COUPLE more daylight cfl's(6500k) for the remainder of vegging. Once u begin flowering, thats when u want to switch em out for the soft white cfls(5500k). Don't skimp on the lights either, right now ur plants are small so ur fine(cept the 1 soft white) but as they get bigger, they're gonna need more light, lots more. I put 4-6 lights per plant, that gets em through till they're around a foot tall or so, then I switch to the hps to flower with. I doubt u have an hps, so in ur case, u'll be adding, and moving cfl's throghout the grow, kind of a pain in the ass, but it has to done. If u got the cash, u should look into and hps, i think they're definately worth the money, and they aren't THAT spendy.

yes, for sure get 65K 'daylight' CFLs...

I'm on my first grow now, and I've already learned my lesson. I had 'soft white' CFLs because i didn't think it made a big difference... even got myself a HPS, but my growth was stunted (due to a couple other things as well) But all I did was get a couple daylights and WOW you'll notice a difference very quick. That same day I saw my plans folding their leaves towards the light, the never did that before, I then added a couple more CFLs and BOOM... explosion. Little plants need that BLUE color in their light

...I've actually put both a soft white, and daylight on a sprout like kickos, and within minutes the sprout was leanin hella towards the daylight.

So I swapped the CFL out for a cool one. and added another on the side until i pick up another dual head this weekend.

Check ebay for hps lighting, or check out ur local hydro store if u got one nearby. But i must warn u, if u go with the hps,ur gonna have to do somethin different with the grow space than usin boxes like that, hps will gett more than hot enough to light them on fire, don't want that. I use a small closet to set mine up in(7h x4w x 3d), works great.

for the space youve got your better off sticking with the cfl's. they'll grow some nice buds if you keep em close.

Hey Kicko,
im an noob settin up all my growing shit atm, i've been looking for the attachments for double or triple bulbs into one socket like you have got in your setup, where did u get them from an how much were they?
