ouch.
only one way to find out. if available, may wanna start a new one, could be shorter on time. but i really have no idea, just a guess.

I went ahead and trimmed off one of the completely dead small leaves. What should I do with the leaf on the left? The base of it is fried but the end is unharmed. Will that eventually die?

What matters is...did the apical meristem get fried? The part at the very tip. Only time will tell

It looks like maybe just the tips of new incoming leaves and not the apical meristem. But it's hard to see.

I pray it didn't

I have had worse.

I have seen a seedling look like a dry toenail and come back to life to be a bad ass plant.

It may not survive but odds are with some TLC it will be fine.
