My highs have changed?

So when i used to smoke i would get a very euphoric, pleasant high, with lots of the immersion,i could watch some 90s cartoons or such and i could easily focus on watching while having cool deep thoughts about everything, when i watched a movie i often felt like i was in that movie. Some stuff was just like "wtf" and for example i had to rewind a video few times because i couldnt believe in some hilarious thing that happened.Everything was so deep and interesting.

But then i didnt smoke for like 2 weeks and i got some weed and i thought its just some wacky sativa and thats why i dont feel so good

But i managed the same awesome weed i smoked before and my highs just suck.Im constantly driven away from the high itself by the thoughts of the fact thats its not as awesome as it used to be.Almost no euphory, i cannot focus on watching movies because im spacing out,the feeling of "wtf" is not existent, and yes, i can tell im high but its nothing like it used to be.

Also its not a tolerance issue,i was smoking once a week and even after taking breaks i still cant get that high. Not even close. That sucks :wall:

Anyone with a similar problem? Any advices? Anything?

I just went through something similar. I got sick, recovered, and every time I smoked for the few following weeks, constant "sketchy" feel. My roomate describes it as cottonhead. I found that if I ate directly after it brought it back to a tolerable level and I can feel mild euphoria. Dumbs down the overall high for me though. Now it seems to be gone.

I use .3-.5 at night to help with my night startles & insomnia.

dude you won't always get the same high. Its strain dependent, but Even the same strain will give different types of high depending on how well it was grown, what week it was harvested, even what part of the plant it came off. Also once a week is still enough to develop a tiny amount of tolerance which will affect the high. If your brain gets used to ingesting x amount of thc every x amount of days it will still affect the high eventually to some degree, you would need to t break at least a month to really claim 0 tolerance. Simple fact is though, you can't and won't always get the same type of high
