Hello all,
Im in mid michigan . Im not a new grower, but new to growing out doors. Ive had 3 successful indoor grows in dirt, and one in bubbleponics.
this coming year i plan to get ambitious and i want to do some techniques that i havent tried before.
I currently have 5 white widow plants going in my bubbleponics system. My plan is to take one female from these ( i hope i get 3!) and let her grow real big, and take as many clones from her as poosible.
I have a few nice spots. One is in a state park, another in a college owned garden. I am currently scoping out areas, and id like to do a 30 -40 plant grow.
Here are my questions.
I want to clone one of my females . But if i let it show its sex, is it too late to clone her? If i then put her back into veg what will happen to the pistils/preflowers?
Is it better to seed a plant and plant twice as many? If so can you explain how i do that.
in MId michigan im thinking i need to get my clones or seedlings started about mid march . I think then ill plant about the last week of may when the plants are all about 6 inches or so.
The soil here is decent , but i plan on going to my site in april and prepare it by adding topsoil and when i plant, i thought i would dig a nice hole and add a nice mix of soil, fert, and water crystals.
I then plan on doing some other sitesas well as more of a test than anything. Theres a fishing sopt i got 3-4 times a year where i have never seen a soul. the woods are decently think but i i can probably find a spot.
Most of my concerns are on when to clone and how? SHould i think about letting a female goto seed or better to veg one real big then clone her?
And once again , i see alot of info on cloning but never tells when!
After they show sex or before and if before, how can you be sure shes female.
Hope i didnt make this too long of a ramble. Can i get some advice?
