I beg to differ, 80 degrees is not bad. 75 would be better but heat is not the issue there. Switching to CFL...Are serious!? WTF

it aint 80 degrees 80f=28 degrees which aint hot. ye cheese is good i have growed it but i moved it into the other growroom because i wanted to grow c45 were the cheese was but since i moved into there it seems to have problems all the time. ill try and save it cause it taste real good but if not ill try the c45 in there

If your using a tent could it be the tent? or maybe the plastic your using??

i wasnt refering to you someguy about the temp. i aint useing a tent but i did have the plastic round the plants but thats what i thought so i took it off and painted to the walls white and waited a week to dry then cleaned it all out and still the problems come

Ya I figured you were talking to the new guy about temp. Not sure but I heard some tents had this type of problem. Seems like if they did fine before they should be fine now... only difference is the new space... I am thinking there is a high probability it is something in that new space.

in the new place when i bought everythin i got a 600 watt hps light were in the other room i was useing a 400 watt hps light and the temp went up by 5degrees which i wasnt botherd about that much but i got a heat deflecter for light affter the 1st attempt faild then 2nd attempt faild then i took the the plastic off then them faild this time ive changed neut. i was using a nft system before but when i done this other room i thought ill do a change so i got a hydroponics system using clays balls which now to 2 be hon as turned me off them but i cant say that really because ive any tryed 1 type of plant in there. theres something in there all right something in the air i reckon haha.

I think its the air..LOL. I doubt its the hydroton.. but could be the system. Maybe go back to NFT in this space and see if things improve. I had problems with DWC & NFT because I didnt have the space to keep a big enough res. I went to hempy and its so simple I doubt I will change ever again. Maintenence is som easy and it grows as good as any hydro method I have ran.

do you use perlite with your hempy system? that what im doin next time if this fails which im not sure about. back to the old NFT's.

I use hydroton in the bottom 2" (so the res) of the hempy bucket. Then I use 100% perlite and then some hydroton on top to keep the perlite from getting all over..LOL. They are waaaaay easy. I feed/water every other to every third day. You can tell because they are super light when they need fed again. I dont use 100% organic, but I imagine that organic teas would work well with hempy. Since using Cal-mag plus I havent had deficiencies like I did before either. All in all I am happy with the method. There is very little maintenence and its a lot cleaner than dirt. Really, I cant say enough good things about hempy. I even have a garden of basil, cilantro and hot peppers in 64oz hempy cups. The plants are lst'd and are constant yeilders. I would try one plant out in a 64oz cup. Even at that size results are great. Go up to 2 or 3 gallon and it just gets better
