My Girlies keep lifting their skirts..leaves pointing straight up!

6 weeks of flowering. This just started happening...

Seems like these girls have a problem with keeping their skirts down..they're just waiting for some male to come and spray them with their jizz..

This only happens after I feed them. I dunno why it happens..I've read it means the plant is very happy, that the plant is exposing herself for pollination, shes covering up her new growth, and i've seen "photonasty, its a type of nastic movement in response to day/night cycles"...it doesnt seem to be harming the plants so I guess its no big deal.

It just looks so damn cool..lol

I have never seen that before.Of course I only have a few grows under my belt.Either way if it's not hurting them I see no problem!Good luck on your grow man looking good so far.

In my experience(which is limited), and research, this means the lights are not close enough and the plants are reaching for the light.
Is it causing too much distance between the nodes?
If so, then it IS affecting the plants and you need to move the lights closer, not too close.
Theb again I could be wrong.
I am high after all..

He said they only do it right after the get fed? That dosen't seem to jive with the stretching theory.I haven't used anything but sunlight so I really don't know for sure.

Sometimes they call that praying for magnesium.Meaning there lacking it. Might not be your problem but it could be.

mine is doing the same thing! not as much as yours but im only 5 wks into flower. and its only on the top cola. i dont think its nothin to worry about.

If it was a mag def epsom salt would cure it but I grow outside.I'm in veg but during the day my leaves also point straight up.I just think they're going for the light.Then again I'm on my first grow....maybe somebody else might know for sure.
