It's go time! I usually start the trim when the lights turn on. To each their own on darkness time...I've found no difference when left in dark for 12, 24 or 36 or 48 hours. IMO I just want to get the trimming over with asap and onto the racks. Have fun and good luck!

Sure bud it will just be a short day for them wont hurt a thing.

The dark time just ensure all the movable starches go down to the roots at least thats why we were told to do it back in the day lol i havent looked into the science of it :)

Minimum for me would be 12 hours off. But 24 is my norm

If you want to frost the girls out

Turn the lights off...the temp down....the dehumidifier or fan on high to make the rh nothing

The dry air will up crstyal production and since its just for 24 hrs the plants will be fine :)

@Cold$moke so i think one plant is finished and the other is not quite... one plant is "swollen" and looks finished, the other one doesnt have that swelled up look. your thoughts? my side, im thinking of harvesting this one plant and letting the other go a little longer.

You should be able to see what I'm saying here. Top 2 pics are not finished and bottom 1 is the swollen finished plant.20180514_231809.jpg 20180514_231759.jpg 20180514_231738.jpg

Thats kinda what i was saying a few posts ago with the hairs not saying it was done. :)

Ahhh The joys of mutli strain grows.

You do realize you can give it 24 hrs dark harvest the ripe one and let the other one go ?

Its all up to you :)

Okay, that's what I was thinking about doing.im so anxious haha.. I was worried the change of light cycle would hurt the one that would grow for a bit longer.

You have patience like a free clinic...glad you didn't do the biggest mistake made by new growers and chop early. What strains are those? Which one is taking 13 weeks to finish?

So, they are the same strain. Aurora indica. They are different because two reasons. I fimmed them different amount of times for testing purposes. Also, the one that is now done was under cfls during veg and the one that isn't done was under a MH. Kinda odd.

Don't forget...Also two different phenotype's could be why as well...they were started with seed if I recall correctly.?

This one got fimmed 4 times and was always under a MH and then his for flower. This is the one I think is not done due to it not swelling.20180514_231759.jpg
