my fruiting chamber plan... will this work?

so from the bottom up... a piece of plastic shrink wrap, 4 jar lids, heater pad, plastic tote with holes drilled sitting on the lids, filled with perlite, then im just gonna make squares with the shrink wrap for cakes to sit on the perlite. im going to stack 1/2 pint cakes 2 high. and top it off with a blue light, and fan it 2-3 times a day. is anything wrong with that for a noob? about to dunk today how much longer to harvest b+??? thanks and rep

Look at it from the view of the cake. Is the 99% humidity or as close as you can get? Are they getting a small amount of fresh air and light? How much longer? No way to tell from here. The cakes will go when they are ready. All you are doing is providing the environment they need to flourish.

And this is why one should case - orchestration of pinning leaves very little to chance - mushrooms will start on cue.
