My First understair Grow *Lots of pics* Feel Free To Comment

Here is my grow set up that is rested undernieth my basement stairs. I have 21 bagseeds from decent smoke that i have planted into miricle grow soil (now before you go all i hate mg and mg kills your plants, i already know) if you have a better mixture you can find in america let me know. The light is 4 cfls that total to about 210 watts.

I currently have 3 fans, two suck fresh air in and one big one blow hot air out.

The box holds 10, 1 gallon pots and that is what i really wanted. the plants can get to two feet high before they will touch the lights.

Im planning on building an additional box in the room that will hold my veg chamber, and then a cloning chamber to top it all off.

My goal is to be able to turn this room in to the perfect grow room. But for right now this is the supplies i have to work with and believe me i cant wait to make it.

So feel totally free to watch or comment as much as possible, being on this site has allowed me to learn so much so please keep it coming.

fox farms ocean forest is a really good soil mix you can get in america.

thanks, do you know where at cause that is what i want to use but i cant seem to find it up here in the midwest. I want the use there nutes too.

i get mine at a local hydro store. fox farms website has a distributor area on the website to find the closest to you.

Almost all the babys are threw the soil by morning they all should be threw

grow box is staying normal and i lowered the lights slightly for the ones that are threw

soil looks good but whens a good time for there first watering i dont want to over water.

Pictures will be up in the morning

looked at fox farms so getting it, 21.99 a bag is a little owwie..but i heard its the shit. found a place and it has everything im so excited planed a trip with my friend tommarow to it so we can look around. Going to bed.

you will notice dramatic difference between fox farms and miracle grow.... i did the same thing when i first started.

Just woke up and looks like there all threw at least the ones that are going to. Real happy that not look deformed, last time i use mg m seedlings were slightly disformed but they gre out of it.

going down to take pictures right after i post this.

Here they are my fresh new babys. All of the ones on the tray look good.

The first fan leaves are nice and green.

The ones that were out already have double in size sice yesturday.


Enough with the blah blah here they are.



The five in the last picture havent broke threw yet so they go to the side.

looks like a simple grow.... keep it simple. just water when the soil is dry. your plants will tell you what they want and what they need. just pay attention to what theyre saying.

that was one of the first things i was told and one of the only, looking back, that holds true. lotsa urban grow legends out there but if you follow that advice you'll be o.k
