Ps: The aussie sun is great at the moment :D

I would say you are ready to top them. It's a matter of choice at this point where you want to sever the tops...I would would just cut above the newest node and let the shoots spread from there. I think topping is great because it makes the plant fuller and less visible to strangers.

At first I was like "what the f*ck, who tops their plants now?!" Then I saw that you are "down under" and we are at opposite seasons....LOL.

Good luck!

leave em' don't top them

Interesting...why do you say to "leave them?" 'Not saying you're wrong, just looking for another perspective.

I try to always top the crop and get good yields. The ones I don't top.....I wish I did later at harvest time.

So at the newest node just cut it off with some scissors?
Cheers

Yup! Simple as that! Make sure the scissors are clean just in case you don't have anything on it that could contaminate the live stem.

I have no choice but to top my plants, otherwise they stand out like sore thumbs and my neighbors would turn me in.

Not topped:

Topped: (Both plants are the same age)

Bud shot from first harvested plant: (I suck at photography)
