My first LST, pineapple chunk

mainly just looking for some experienced advice on how they look so far. today is day 31 veg since I put them in soil from paper towel. took the last pictures 4 days ago and have repinned 2 times since.

the general info
so only 3 of my 5 pineapple chunk seeds from barney's farm popped so I decided to do some low stress training on them, I've been using cut up hangers to pin down branches, and then I bought some giant staple type pins for that ground fabric that prevents weeds from growing in flowerbeds and they ended up working much better. out of the 3 ladies I have one obvious beast that is growing much more vigorously than the other two, one seems more indica dom, one seems like sativa dom, guess I get to see all the chunk in one grow. with the faulty AC the temps regularly reached the 100 degree mark, it's under control now but there are some signs of heat stress. I only had a 1000 MH light, 2 box fans, 1 oscillating fan, some mylar emergency blankets, 1 horrible air conditioner that sporadically went out during the heat of the day and a 10 foot by 12 foot by 12 foot high shed. No nutes have been used yet, they have been transplanted 3 times into a bigger pots (1 gallon, 3 gallon, 5 gallon) with more ocean forest soil, might put them into 7 gal smart pots before I flower. yesterday I got a 125 watt supplemental CFL to use later for seedlings but I threw it up for some side light. threw in a little higher stress training on some branches just to bend them over the side of the bucket. this is my first attempt at any kind of plant training like this, always just let em grow before.

my first time taking pics of my ladies, sorry if I do it wrong, didn't realize the pics went better out of the light until too late lol.

I walled off a small portion of my total grow area to better control the temps

you can see the heat damage, I was worried for awhile but they all kept growing very aggressively despite the temps

Are my branches supposed to be growing so close together? the light is 2 feet over the canopy

I removed some of these pins since the branches seemed to be very solid in some of the main bends

I ran out of spots to pin nodes on this side of the bucket so I decided to start pinching to soften, then bending the branches over, trying to use sparingly though as I don't want to stress my ladies too much

took awhile but I learned to multitask the pins to hold many branches

they are really getting very, very bushy

they are growing rapidly enough where I think I will flower in a week or two

now THAT is some training! lookin good buddy! its always such a nerve-racking to me but its such a beautiful thing haha. happy growing!

snapped a few pics from today, so almost 5 days growth and 2 more pindowns, gonna let em go for a week without messing with them again I think, just water and nutes when fedex delivers them today. the little humidity dome has a branch that snapped cleanly, I thought I would try and clone it instead of trashing it, my first time attempting a clone.

Perfect example of LST brother. I guarantee ya they are going to rise up out of there and flower they're asses off. It seems to take forever to get them to work their way around the pot like that but its worth it. On my current run I decided to grow straight up instead of the LST i had done before and NEVER again will I do that. On my next run I'm going right back to the LST. It provides the best yields when space ( and light penetration) is an issue.
Nice work, it looks just like it is supposed to when done right !
To help keep the growth nice and green I would suggest you continue with veg nutes for the first two weeks of flowering before switching to a bloom nute.

thanks for the encouraging words and especially for the nutes tip, I have always gone organic soils and amendments and am abit intimidated by nutes in general so today's feeding will be a first for me. I am very excited by all the bud nodes emerging though, I found 55 total last night when doing a quick general headcount

Really nice growth... I'm pretty new to this so I don't have a lot to offer in advice. Just best wishes to u, keep us updated.

Looks amazing and you got the indica phenotype. I just recently chopped some PC's and I acutally got two different phenotypes all slow flowering and shorter stout one and the stretchy one. Smells amazing prior to harvest and during its flowering cycle. Hope the smoke is amazing I'll find out after the curing process. Good luck with the rest of your grow. Oh and when you get red stems if they become apparent in your grow its an indication that a nitrogen deficiency will be coming your way.

I'll watch for color changes, I am unfortunately red/green color blind so I can color differentiate but I can't tell shades in the individual colors. it's a pain in the ass for some stuff, lol
