My first indoor grow and I would like som input please

This is my first grow and i think it's going well for what i am growing (bag seeds) But I would like the opinion of some experienced growers on my plant development. I have 3 plants in week 2 and one of them is growing allot faster than the other 2 (plant c). It actually skipped the 3 node leaf set and went straight from 1 to 5. I posted pics of week one and week two. Also they are pretty stubby (because of how close the lights are) will this effect them negatively at all? Any advice is appreciated! :mrgreen:

Short and fat is preferable to tall and skinny

The two on the left look a bit yellowed? But the one on the right looks fine.

I saw that in the picture. It's just the way the light is reflecting off the leaves.

Cerious what soil u are using and what light?
Hard to say, but I dont think its your light making your plants stubby unless its a HID lighting system, but u would mention prob if you wre using one. So what light u got running? If those are in week 2 they are doing good compaired 2 week 1. I would invest in a pH pen!!!

Using Miracle Grow potting soil w/ moisture control and 4 cfls equaling 8600 lumens.

Miracle grow may cause ya problems, but im not kidding u will be the first if it dont lol. good luman for this stage, are u able to increase luman's by week 3?? Maybe 80,000?

I have a mh bulb but no ballast yet. I forgot to mention i am only growing mothers in soil, i will be taking cuttings for clones in my hydro system, don't know if that will matter as far as the soil goes.
