My First Grow

Hello all. I came across this site using google as i am going to grow some ganja. I must give props to White Widow for his article. He made me believe I could do it. Thanks.

I almost have everything I need:

400 HPS, 2 6 in inline fans, a can combo 33, 12" wall mounted oscilating fan, temp/hydrogmeter, 6" duct, nutes, ph, ppm meter, soil, buckets, mylar, that black and white plastic shyte, 2 digital timers.

I am going to buy some sheet rock, plywood, 2 2x4x8, 2 4 way electical outlets, breaker switch, wiring and a couple of thick steel brakets to use as a frame for my can combo charcoal filter.

i need to finish the closet with the above and line it with mylar. I will then need to rig a sealed french door.

before I get ahead of myself, I have a very handy man who is like a brother and he will be doing most of the heavy work.

My closet is 8 ft tall, 5.5 ft wide, and 2 ft deep. I am hoping to grow at least 6 plants, maybe 8. Once I complete the closet, i am either going to look for and old cabinet or build a box for clones and a couple mothers.

I will be using all organic nutes, fox farm, bug spray and soil. I want it all natural. I hope fox farm is natural.

I have the ocean forest soil and am going to mix 70/30 with their lighting warrior grow medium.

I will take some pics this weekend of the before and I think we are building on tuesday.

oops, make that Widow Maker.

I have a cool tube and will be ventilating it with the two inline fans. one in and one out of the top of the closet. does my charcoal canister need to be vented out of the closet? i was going to attach a 6 in Y connector to both the exaust fan from the light vent and the exhaust from the charcoal can fan. it will then be dumped outside the house via 6 in ducting and a nice little hole. or can i just have the can fan blowing inside the closet? i was going to put two steel bracket and a board as a shelf for it near the top of the closet on one side. i have a wall mounted fan for the other side blowing across the area. it seems like it will all be very tight.
