My First Grow

So I'm getting my first grow together, and wanted some opinions and suggestions. I've attached some pics to illustrate what I have so far.

Pic#1: Overall view of the cabinet for the grow illustrating the chains for hanging of the CFL's.

Pic#2: (1) thermometer/hygrometer, (1) 90 degree elbow and (4) duct clamps for construction of carbon filter; (1) 9' extension cord, (1) 6-outlet power strip, (1) 6-outlet surge protector.

Pic#3: (1) 3-prong grounded outdoor timer (came with free 2-prong timer), (1) soil moisture meter, (1) 110v outlet cover (replacing outlet),
(1)activated carbon pre-filter (to wrap around carbon filter to be built)

Pic#4: (1) 3-prong grounded outdoor timer (came with free 2-prong timer) (yes, I got 2 of these, they were only 8 bucks each @ Lowe's!), (1) roll duct tape, (1) 5-pack velcro tie straps for keeping cords neat and tidy,
(1) replacement 110v outlet, (1) light switch and plate (replacing light switch connected to outlet).

Pic#5: (1) Broan Solitaire Series Model: S130 exhaust fan (130 CFM @ 3.5 somes) - similar sound frequency to the Vornado fan that will sit on top of the grow wardrobe or "Grobe" as I've began calling it. Going to cut a hole in the back of the cabinet where the center crossmember and upright meet to allow ventilation to all areas of the Grobe. From the vent of the fan goes the elbow and carbon filter to be constructed.

Pic#6: Exterior of "The Grobe"

Interior Deminsions:
Upper section: 13"high x 46"wide
Lower left section: 53 1/2"high x 46"wide
Lower right section: 53 1/2"high x 46"wide
the cabinet also included 3 shelves, one shown in the first pic.

SO, do I have enough ventilation? (negative pressure holes to be drilled into the sides of the cab)

How should I seal the interior seams, silicone or duct tape?

Was planning on using the upper area for seedlings/clones, the lower area(s) for veg/flowering.

I'm planning to grow Fem. Northern Lights to keep the size small (using LST) and keep the odor down.

I still need to track down some CFL's and soil, nutes, square pots, and Pandafilm.

Would like to have 4 plants in veg, 4 in flower and some clones all in soil (and maybe 1 aeroponic, just cuz) so I can harvest every 8-10 weeks.

Tell me what you think guys, even if it's just an overall opinion.

Thanks! - Dinobelly
