My First Grow

So, this is my first time attempt at growing indoors. I have tried in the past with a single bag seed and it wasn't doing too well. At first, I thought I was overwatering it, then I thought I was underwatering it and it just died. Come to find out, my cat had been licking the leaves. It is more funny than upsetting.

With that being said, I bought a pack of Caramelicious seeds and a book. The 10 Caramelicious (C) seeds came with 20 free seeds of unknown strain (U).

My setup is as follows:

2'7"x2'7"x5'11" grow tent settled in a slightly larger closet
400 W aircooled MH/HPS light
Rainforest 66(Not yet being used)
Canna Aqua Nutrients and the rest of the Canna line

I am at the earliest stages of my grow. There are only two components of my grow that I actually have setup now as it is all that I need, "that" being the light and the tent.

I successfully germinated six seeds using the paper towel method and by placing the seeds in a drawer in a bathroom. I have 5 Caramelicious seeds and 1 Unknown.

It only took one day for the first embyonic roots to appear and by the second day, all six embryonic roots had appeared.

This brings us to yesterday...I transplanted all 6 seedlings to grodan cubes soaked with a Rhizotonic/Water solution. I then placed the cubes in a humidity dome under the 400W MH light. I initially wanted to do an 18/6 but I have decided on a 24/0 in order to reduce the occurrence of hermaphrodites and for the sake of time.

The temperature in the grow tent has finally leveled off and seems to stay around 82F. The humidity in the tent is around 35%. Note: The light is NOT being aircooled now as I haven't set up the fan for it.

As stated earlier, I am new to this. I am going off what I have read from my book, forums, and other sources. I am VERY open to hearing advice and criticism from anyone who may be willing to offer any.

I plan on updating this forum as the plants mature and I will be posting pictures as soon as the plants break through the grodan.

Again, please feel free to ask questions, make comments, etc... as all of it is greatly appreciated.
