My first grow

Hi everybody, just signed up on this site and this is my first post. I am about 7 weeks into my first grow (a thrown together closet grow) and its looking good. I have just recently began flowering and am awaiting the first signs of sex. My plant is about two feet tall. I am hoping to get some pics up soon but i just wanted to say thanks to all of the helpful people and useful information on this site. This was my #1 resource and will continue to be.

Do you have some specs of your grow?
Lighting, medium, ventilation, nutes, odor control etc?
 
I have four 42watt CFLs, planted in a 3gal pot with scott's moisture control potting soil, miracle grow plant food 18-18-21 for veg and miracle grow bloom booster for flowering 15-30-15, and no odor control. my room smells delicious. i vent it every once in a while with a fan. Its really not what i would have liked but its my first and i threw it together in about a day when my parentals weren't home. (I'm still in high school) Unfortunately they found out about it after about 3 weeks but haven't made me get rid of it. I'll work on getting some pics up here for ya.
 
Welcome and good luck with your grow! Ur rents seem cool; my mom discovered my first grow as well; but I spent hours brainwashing her to believe that MJ is actually not the kind of drug people make it out to be. Eventually she believed me and I can now even toke up in front of her lmfao...she would never do it even though I've thought about sprinkling some kief on the front of her cigarettes lmao!
 
18 in Michigan. Hopefully i can get a medical marijuana card sometime soon. gotta love the new laws.

Ya my mom still is pissed about it but my dad balances her out.
P.S. im going to upload some pics within the hour and i'll post em here.
 
I was just asking because it seems fucked up to risk getting your parents in trouble and losing their house just so you can grow a few grams with CFL's...
 
Foreclosed anyway, didn't matter lol. Just joking around; but I understand where you are coming from.
 
naw i got a pretty big house and its in my closet in my room. Theres pretty much no way someone could find it. I'm pretty sure my dads going to get his card pretty soon and if so my grows will only get better. Also how do i get my pic on here? i took a quick one.

Save the pic to your computer
Click reply and then manage attachments
Click browse and then look through your pics
Double click on the pic you want and then click upload
