My first Grow

Just got out of the military and wanted to give this grow stuff a try to quell my now minor PTSD. I only made 2 plants for my own personal use, and I have some pics for you all. I believe they are healthy. I think they are Females from what I see and my friends saw. I put some miracle grow bloom booster and I see that is working great.

I don't know any terminology or what part of the plant is what, still searching the forums for them. Just joined bout 20 min ago. This is what I want to do for my life. Grow Medical Marijuana, cause this plant puts me in a good dimension, and I know if it can help me spiritually and psycically, I know it can do miracles. Its so beneficial to all of mankind and its so sad how our facist political structure demonizes it. here are the pics enjoy. The set up is outdoors fully and it is next to a very very bountiful vegitable garden, so the soil is very good. I water them every once in a while, the rain has been fine for watering them thou. And yes I am talking to them too. Ill be sleeping next to them starting mid sept. to early oct. cause there are theives left and right for outdoor plants like crazy in the rural area i live at. CONSTRUCTIVE critisim is greatly appreaciated as with suggestions and advice. Have fun on all your adventures with botany!

PS : How much do outdoor plants usually yield?

an outdoor plant will give u a lot more than indoor ones...depending on condiitons ofcourse...bigger buds n all...how do u knw they are females...they still seem to be in veg

Well my friend was telling me a trick during veg is if there are at least 7 top leaves they are fine. Males are usually only 5 leaves. I could be wrong thou, These are my first plants. So I want to experiment this year before I plant clones next year. These are from seeds i just stuck in the ground and let nature do its course they are about 6 weeks I think, I have no perception of time and haven't really made a log or anything. Will start that next year. haha.

Your plants will start flowering when there's approx. 12 or more hours of darkness per day. Check your sunrise/set times using the calc:

Your plants seem to be thriving on what you've done up to this point. Good job. Wow, pretty hardcore if you are seriously going to sleep outside next to those plants for several weeks. Not something I'd be willing to do, but more power to you. I've never heard of any reliable "early detection" method for determining sex of plants - not to say there aren't any. Mother nature will take its course and you'll know soon enough, tho.

Sorry to hear about the PTSD. At least you can smoke without being worried about a random urinalysis and the possibility of a dishonorable discharge I did 9 years in the Navy and only smoked a few times while in. I had a friend (my boss on the ship) who got busted thru a piss test. They kicked him out and he only had 2 years before retirement.
