My First Grow, Teach me Sensei

Okay, so I have only tried growing once before in a micro set inside a PC. It didn't go so well and now I'm trying again (4 years later). My plan is to grow a room of mixed stuff to get a few cross strains, collect seeds for re-use, clone all females and waste all males to keep only my seeds and females. I eventually will have a part of my tent set up for crossing strains, but right now it's just guna be a good ol fashion orgy.

My seeds:
(2) Lithium OG Kush Fem.
(2) Blue Mystic AutoFlowering Fem.
(4) mystery seeds that come for free

My tent is 5ft wide by 6ft Long and 6ft tall


I'll post pics along the way. So far, I just finished setting up my tent and the carbon filter. The seeds are about a day into germination (looks like they need another 24 hours). I went to a HTG Supply store and the guy was helpful enough to guide me through the soil to get and a few other things I need early start. You can see that in my pics of receipts.

My current question/thought:
I just ordered a 4ft 6lamp T5 lamp from HTG Supply. I'll be growing 8 plants. 2 I know are autoflowering. 4 I know will be female. and 4 I have no idea wtf is coming. I want to grow them all under the same light, is it possible and what would be the best lights to go for full spectrum? I was hoping to stick with HTG for as much of my supplies as possible. Kick ass. I too just am going after many years and it feels good to have my hands dirty again. This site is loaded with info, stuff I wish I had back in the 80's like autos. Keep the green thumb dirty

Side note: I'm going to buy a 2ft 4 lamp t5 from htg today. I'll use it either just for veg or run it full spectrum vertically

Just so you know there's only one true sensei on this forum ...IMO the barefoot sensei himself @TWS .........but he's probably out wrestling a bear or kicking somebodies ass at something half his age ....in other words busy .......but welcome and good luck

The lith Og is the first to sprout. It's been about 15 hours in the soil. Blue mystic and mystery seeds look like they'll need more time though. My temp is at 81 and humidity at 70. It really doesn't feel that warm in the tent though, so should I worry about that?

I lowered the lights as close as possible. Hoping it will help the blue mystic catch up

Day 2 under sun and the lithium is just taking off! The blue mystic a little behind but both have sprouted. Then the miscellaneous seeds have also all started to break the surface ever so slightly. I have 3 more lithium og and 3 misc. in germination. Bought a 600watt hps too

I lowered them a little because theyre all sprouting pretty high. Also, how often do I need to water a 1/2 gallon bucket of soil that has a first week sapling in it. IDK if it's just evaporating or what but I water my babies like 3 times a day... are they just drinking a shit load lol. I water them with about 1-2 cups of water each 2-4 times a day
