My First Grow, Pitbull, Hawaiian, Bag Seed!

Hey all, I've decided to make a grow journal since I have nobody else to share it with around my area! This is my first grow so be kind  .. Since I've got OCD real bad this journal will probably be updated every day with tons of pics, hop on and enjoy the ride. I sure am already!

To start things off lets go with the:

Grow Space: It's 19"W x 25"D x 60"H.

Lighting 400Watt MH Ballast with hood, with just a standard MH Bulb from the local agricultural store(next grow will actually buy a horticultural bulb). I Will be using this for my vegging. When comes time to flowering I will be getting a 400W HPS conversion bulb that will run on a MH Ballast, This bulb will actually be a horticultural bulb! (suggestions would be great as to what one to get and where!) Currently the bulb is 18-20" from the canopy.

My Temperatures average 78F. Lights on Temp is usually around 78-80F. With lights off Temp is usually around 74-76F.

My RH averages 45, Generally I'm not sure if this is right or not... but my RH during lights on is right around 40, With lights off my RH goes up to about ~50.

Air Intake: Fresh air intake from outside using a double window fan, 6" ducting running on High when lights are on, Low when lights off (just to maintain fresh air)

Exhaust: 250CFM Inline duct fan above the hood on the 400W MH. This fan is only running while the light is on, and for approx 15min. after the light turns off.

Air movement: I've got a 12" oscillating fan that is running 24/7 with air movement right above the canopy. This fan also acts as part of the Cold Air Intake System.

Soil: Fox Farms Ocean Forest, Fox Farms Light Warrior. Current blend is 1 to 1

Pots: 2# Deep Pots, Space is restricted so this is their home.

Nutes: Fox Farms Grow Big.

And now the girls!

Currently I've got:
1 Pitbull Clone (info on her is here. http://www.gro4me.com/pit_bull.htm ) In no way am I claiming that this strain is the exact as that one, I've recieved this clone from a friend.

2 Hawaiian Clones (supposedly Maui Wowie) one of them has had a very rough life and I will refer to her as Stumpy throughout this journal.

1 Bag seed, I've germinated just for shits and giggles.

Soon to be: 2 Trainwreck clones: I will have these on Sunday! 6-14-2009! Yay!

I Hope I've covered just about everything. In the following posts will be pictures Starting with the grow space, then from begginging to presant day!

Please feel free to post here, with usefull comments, tips and advice. This is my 1st grow and would love the help! :peace:

Ok.. 5-29-2009 They came to my home. I know very little about growing anything, yet alone cannabis, thanks to my discovery of www.Rollitup.org I've had a lot of questions answered just by reading, and a couple posts asking!

Things are looking good today, the Pitbull and Hawaiian are responding nicely to their starting of LST, I'm going to bend em a little more tonight.

The Bag Seed seems to be growing quite rapid now that she's used to her new home, and Stumpy is well hanging in there, growing as much as she can.

6-13-2009: Just picked up a pH test kit and some pH up and pH down! Hopefully I've got a pH imbalance causing the leaves to "curl"

6-13-2009: After testing waters pH was off, got everything set around ~6.5 now, Next watering I'm going to start introducing nutes to the Pitbull and Hawaiian.

They are looking rather good today, responding nicely to their LST, will give them a little break for a couple days, then bend a little more!

Pictures for today.:peace:

That Pitbull strain is killer, man! You're gonna love it!

This description is dead on: "Taste is fruity and earthy mix with a tropical bottom note"

Sweet!! My friend called today and said that some of the Pitbull was harvested and will have some to try on Sunday!! I can't wait! The Pitbull is really starting to grow fast now!

6-14-2009: Everything is looking good to me, All the plants are looking happy.

Everything got watered (minus Pitbull) with ~6.5pH Distilled water, tested run off and pH was ~6.5

Next watering going to start on 1/4 tsp /gallon FF Grow Big nutes.

Received the Trainwreck clone today but smoked too much hash and forgot to take pictures of her, so they will come tomorrow :bigjoint:
