my first grow help

hey buds, i have a question for u guys. im growing about 3 plants for personal use in a very small area im not getting too extreme wit growing im just done with street shit ya know. i was wondering can i growing pretty good shit just for myself if i use 3 75watt output CFL and one halogen 100 watt i know people say dont use halogen but i need sum heat as its getting colder and it will help but will my shit come out good and can i flower with this light set up? thanks guys rep+

I say forget the halogen. If you are growing indoors in temperatures that are tolerable for you to live in then they will be tolerable for the plant. You may be suprised to hear that while plants love light they don't love heat. summer days are actually much hotter than plants like. 70-75 degrees is ideal. if your plants are 65 you may think that's way too cold but that is actually ok. So forget the halogen, you don't need heat, you need light. get more cfl in there & consider 1 plant instead of 3. Maybe even just 2.

If you go 3 w/ too little light they will look to be doing well while they start because it will be enuf light to veg. but when you try to flower they will peter out & have very few & very loose & very low quality buds. You just don't have enough light yet for 1 plant much less 3. Well maybe 1 very smally plant w/ a 75w cfl. But add another one of those & you could do 1 plant well or do 2 smaller ones.
