Happy Holidays RIU, I have enjoyed all the information available here. This past week I have been all over the forums, internet, library, and stores. With all of the this information in hand, I'm ready to submit a design. I will begin construction and implementation of the design and grow plan in approximately 4 weeks. I will do my best to provide enough detail, all comments welcomed and expected.

Room Design

I'm planning a 11'L x 6.5'W x 8'H room, which will be divided into smaller 5' x 5' x 8' rooms. The idea for the Vegetative Room is simple, which also includes cloning. For lighting of the clones 2x 6500k and 1x 2700k 36" Flo Tubes. The Clones will be housed in a small cabinet inside Veg room, for optimal temperature and humidity control. Lighting for the veg portion of the room will be provided by a 400w Mh lamp, with the possibility of Cfl's if needed. The clones will be in small containers, mature plants in 2 gallon containers.

The Flowering Rooms lighting slightly differs from the veg room. The main portion of the lighting will be provided by a 600w HPS lamp centered to the plants. To compensate for the loss of intensity along the perimeter of the room, 2700k flo's will be used. The flo's will be able to adjusted on a horizontal and vertical axis, so they can be positioned with growth of the plants. There will also be a Co2 system in place.

Both of the rooms will share similar provisions for ventilation and relflective coatings. Though I haven't decided on what type of reflective materials to use, mylar reflective or white? I have left myself a little wiggle room on the dimensions of the rooms, with the ability to go larger if it is not enough area for 9x plants. I have already began to purchase items that are needed. The meter I picked up will be used to monitor ph, soil moisture, and soil temp.

This will be my first grow, I expect to be over/under compensating. Let me know what you all think, we have a few weeks to collaborate.:bigjoint:
