My First Grow, (cfls)

I have a small box set up and about 8 CFLS in there, I was wondering a typical light cycle for the growth of plant? And for the flowering of plant? I currently have in on a 12-12 cycle, is this sufficient?

I'm also battling some heat issues, if anyone has some economical ideas to mini fans or anything used to keep CFLS cool any tips will be appreciated.

Turn light to 18 hours veg and 12 hours flowering

go buy 2 of those prewired computer fans that you can just plug in or just buy the fans and wire em yourself.

cut a hole in each side on your box just big enough for a tight fit...one for inlet. one for outlet

put the fans in..then just duct tape em in.. then start em up....make sure to put the fans in the right way, other wise you might get both blowing out or both in.

Try a small ocelating fan blowing up from the bottum and a 6" vent fan from lowes or depot sucking the hot air out at the top[add duct hose with 2 bends in it will let air out and keep lite in or out,lite willl not bend around 2 corners].you will need to have the same size hole at the bottum to let air in[remember 2 bends]And get a termomiter so you can check the temp.[75-79].hope that helps bro

I willl do that with the lights, thanks! Thanks so much for the ideas guys, if anyone has any more it would be wonderful. I actually already have 2 pc fans wired and 1 on each side... one blows in, one blows out. I'm thinking I'm gonna put 2 more today, right next to the existing two. That way theres two side by side blowing in, then on the other side theres 2 side by side blowing out. Then a small 6in desk fan blowing up from the bottom directly at the lights? Think this would help?

I have a nice digital thermometer, and I'm trying to avoid going with like a bathroom exaust with a bunch of duct work... however if it comes to that then I guess I'll have to do it.
