Its my first grow and I've got 20 seeds from good bags, what are my chances of getting females?

Figure on killing most of them. Half right off the jump, not including gimps. I'd plant 12 to get 4 adult females, but then by the time you know what your keeping, you've wasted valuable floorspace.
