My first cob light

I have been pondering this for some time now and like to hear the opinions of those who use them.

The idea is to either diy or get a timber kit. Right now I'm running a blurple which has served me quite well. The question now is whether or not to keep the blurple for veg and get a cob light for flower only and if so what color should I go with?
Or should I just go with 3500k and call it a day?

Im using 3000k 90 cri gen 6 citizens right now and very happy with them. Timber kits are nice but you can build something yourself a bit cheaper, I prefer radial fin sinks to pins personally. You can run 3-4 citizen 1818's on a hlg-185h-48a on sale at cobkits up to 220watts. I used mechatronix 15250 heatsinks which cost $15 each and can handle 75watts of heat. Personally id dump the blurple completly or convert it to cob using 1212s for veg.

Interesting ideas! I was thinking having a flowering light would be better but have nothing to compare nor a hot clue
