my fing air pumpes got unpluged! am I screwed?

so went in my room the other day and noticed I accidentally unplugged the air pump somehow and they were under water for 24 hrs min with no air. you think all the roots are dead or are they going to be ok? some of the roots kinda look brownish but the plants aren't wilting or anything... the leaves are still pointing up to the light

how long can the roots survive underwater with no air?

they should be good seeing as you found out about them being unplugged quickly

It can be compared to a longer duration... There is still enough oxygen in the water to keep plant alive for 24 hours without significant damage, your plants should recover

thanks weedler at least someone answered me +rep. I figured they would be okay bu I was trying to get a second opinion. nice grow bty ill be following it. coincidentally I ordered the same two strains before I found your journal. I got some papaya going right now in about the same stage as yours

give them a dose of h2o2, 1 tsp per gal should help oxygenated the water.

If you need any help on the AK48 I had some nute burn early when I first started but I germinated a second seed for the mom and have not had one issue with it yet. Already topped etc, it will be going into flower under a SCROG after the holidays. I can pass along the PPM's I've been running etc. just shoot me a PM.

H2O2 could be a good additive as well for a week to super oxygenate the water like wiseguy said.
