This is my first time growing with CFL and as far as I can tell, it’s going good. I am one week into flowering my baby, and I was think about maybe changing my current setup some. I was looking throw some DIY reflectors for CFLs and come across one that I think would fit the setup I had in mind. Right now I have a total of 7 CFLs shrouding my plant. Basically, I just was wanted to get an opinion of my current setup.
Here is the DIY reflector for CFLs that I was looking at.

Here is my current Lighting setup
1 x softwhite
1 x daylight
5 x Full spectrum
All of them are 23 watt bulbs.

you only have one plant? you should germ some more, it may be female, and thats looking good for your first grow, most people have 1-2 cfls for their first grow, and that reflector looks good if you got the room

Looking good!! Yea, i hope you get ur girl if not with just one plant maybe you will get a boy and some good seed or a hermie and both. That same set-up on about 2-3 other plants, you will be golden!!! Very nice set-up..

Keep us posted!!

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I know I should have grown more than one plant. But this is my first time growing and I did not expect the plant to grow so well. My next grow will defiantly have at least 4 plants. I was worry about it possibly being a male, but she is defiantly showing signs of it being female. After one week of flowering (12/12) I can see the pistils showing. I tried to get a shot of it with my camera, but it can’t focus on it.

Two weeks have passed, so I figured I alto get some updated shots. I tired getting some closes up shots, but my camera sucks… I started giving her some CO2 boost and I think she is enjoying it. She is starting to grow faster. I started measuring her last week, and she was averaging 1/5 an inch in one day (24hr). Now she has been growing about 1 inch a day since I started giving her CO2.

peace :blsmoke:
