Hey guys

So i have 3 babies under a 125w CFL

6400K Full Spectrum Daylight bulb

Do you think I'll need another to take care of them better?

Or is one sufficient enough? (i only plan to have 3 plants at a time)

And it is an inch or two away from the plants, thats good enough right?

Thanks in advance

if you want to reach your full potential you need three of those bulbs. one for each plant.

arrange them in a circular configuration with the lights spaced in between them if possible. i think you will find that the challenge is not lumens with cfls but penetration.
having a few big watt bulbs (85+watts with interspersed 40watts bulbs works wonders)

i'd say atleast one per plant to get much of anything....but i'd put two on each plant just to reach a decent amount one for three is not going to be enough they will stretch and that will not flower them

it will be just fine for ur plant,it puts out approx12000lumen per bulb.i got one too,it makes for a good plant.

So you agree then? This light is good for ONE plant?

I guess Ill be buyin another light here soon... I hope I can get it before its too late...

We're in week one of veg

I should be ok for another week or maybe two right?

Or no

THIS i need to know

Thanks to all of you for your input, I GREATLY appreciate it

pick up a few of the 27 watt cfl's and a cord and socket and give each side atleast one of the 27 watters with the 125 watt on top with a reflector over the top of it..it will help fill out the plant nicely..

Depens on the 125w bulbs you got because some of them 125w cfls has 8000 lumens and some have 12000 lumens
2 x 125w bulbs will grow 4 plants but not in flowering .

Of course it will be better with more lights, but you can do it with that much. I am almost done with my first grow and I had less then that for two plants and they are looking dddddddddddddddddelicious haha.

well if you look under my first post, i put the link to my exact light...

So let me get this straight, if i have 2 of these lights, i can grow up to 4 plants, but I cannot flower all four with just those 2 lights?

So how many do I need?

Thanks in advance

Um 2 x 125w(8000-12000 lumens) will grow 4 plants good but you might wanna get one more for flowering

Right on

So im going to buy another 125w light this week... and I only intend on having just two lights... Ill also buy 2 flowering lights when we switch to the flowering stage (not for a while)

With these 2 lights, I only intend growing 3 plants at a time

Is it sufficient enough? Can i get away with growing 3 really good plants with 2 of these lights?

Thanks so much for all your help so far
