Are you nearing the end of your flowering phase? If so, no you are not doing something wrong, the bud is just awesome!!

like the above poster said, sometimes buds can turn purple towards the end of a grow.. but sometimes they can turn purple pretty much anytime they want too.. a lot of times, they say that cooler temps can cause your buds to turn purple, sometimes its all in the genetics..
