My bud potency seems to have decreased during curing, halp.

so here is how it goes. i dried it and we test smoked it. it was good, got the straight up mental high. yadeyadeya. ive been trying to cure it after the drying stage with air-tight jars (and burping) and it seems that either the bud is too dry (and i fucked up drying) or trichomes somehow shrunk. we've been constantly taking out bit by bit to smoke. and it was good before i actually started to cure, but now that i did start (one week so far) it seems to have gotten a little weak. my pothead friend even told me.

did my mess up curing? my jar is big in size, its like 3/5 filled. i added a couple fan leaves inside to moisten up my dried buds and yea.. im not sure if im curing correctly. what am i doing wrong?

-ive noticed the smell in my jar changed, it smells good. good sign? bad sign?
-buds are dry, really dry, even though its humid inside my jar.

could it be that its just too dry and i have to cure more?

Your Tri's are Tri's they will decrease in strength after years of sitting or if you leave them out in open air for a few weeks. The Tri is an oil gland, if that helps you understand it better. The Mind is a powerful thing. I can remember as a small boy smoking shake and thought I was as stoned as Moses was when he thought he split the sea, Then after learning it was just my mind playing tricks on me. Are you sure you waited till your tri's were cloudy as some should have been going Amber if you waited till ALL were cloudy? (Rehtorical no answer)

when ive smoked premature stuff its like a mental head high, makes you feel like your high as shit but doesnt last long, then the real stuff isnt as crazy cause the trichs have matured from that mad spinny stage. sure you didnt just get lost in the high? your bud smelling good is a good sign lol.

shit man. maybe my bud did kind of mature more and i lost the early cloudy ones that gave me the awesome buzz. sigh. oh well. ill just do everything normally still and see how it goes while having my friend test smoke it every week. :\
