About 40 of the JH x CBA and they are just starting to show sex. So I will probably toss half of them, And I have 12 clones rooted in 1 gallon pots for outside and another batch of clones in under the dome.. 4 moms and just cut the flower plants, the seeds i am sending you are shoreline (houston) x herijuana x Jack Herer.. The Bomb shit! I will send you them probably tomorrow.

hey mate i have a few questions umm i got some auto aks and i wanted to know how you know when the seeds are ready mine are still a bit green on some plants and are starting to turn brown on othere but i cant see the hole seed so its hard to tell,also if i was to use the auto ak male pollen on a non auto bag seed what would happen would the seeds be good to grow and harvest

Well Im not sure, I've never grown or bred any auto-flowering seeds soley because, In a way I am kinda against auto-flowering strains, they lake the density and potency that I look for.
Not to say they all suck, But I can tell you, most likely you results will vary, bagseed is usually always sativa domn, So if you have a plant that will flower for 100 + days combined with a plant that flowers in 50 days (auto) I'd say you'll end up with a shorter 3 foot plant, that most likely will finish in 75 days or so... But what you can do is, look for the pheno that finishes faster then the others and faster flowering male, breed those two together, and you might bring back the auto-flowering pheno you started with.. But to really get it back you would need to breed it multiple times until it turn consist, so it might be easier to buy more seeds, if that is what you want..


And with the finished seeds, The longer the better, I try to pollinate at around a month into flower which allows 45 or more days, you'll always have unfinished seeds but you can aim for a better % by letting them go longer..
I always say on buds and seeds when you think they are ready let them go another 2 weeks and begin a 2 week flush..

is there such a thing as to long for the seeds to be ready and after i pick the seeds do i dry them in the sun or anything

ohh and i grow outdoors thats why i like the auto plant cos i plant all year round but i usually have 2 big non auto,bag seed

just hang the plant to dry as you normally would but put something underneath in case any beans fall out. after that theres a few options but basically just seperate the seeds from the flower and there husks.. this can be a lengthy process. if you dont sit there and gt the beans individually you can just break all the buds up and use paper or something and sort of russle the beans down and hold the plant matter up the top. i often end up ding this too.

youll probably notice this is a bit brief but hey youll get your own preffered method over time nd realise that sometimes one way happily suits you whilst others another. (grabbing a seeded bud and umm its hard to explain but sort of crunch it up and around breaking the bud but not and watch the seeds fall lol. i usually do this when i have a lot to do and a going to sive the beans away from the matter. (actually i think hashbean has a video on youtube cos i remember seeing it and thinking hehe he seperates seeds like i do)

i then aklso like to go through my beans and give em the pinch test
putting them in cold nvironments for a while can help boost germ rates to as will help mimmic a winter dormant phse for the seeds

I have to agree with you on the auto flowering part. Alot or most of the Autos don't give you high yeilds and they are short in return you don't get alot of bud for the amount of time they take.

IMO I'd stay way from Auto flowering because
1 - They'll lack in high yeilds unlike of you took an non auto plant and toped it to make alot of tops to harvest
2 - You have to be on the ball to be able to know exacly what each auto gives you if you were to breed them
3 - You'll have to keep starting from seed every time this it takes you more time and more money then to go with a non auto plant

i got about 30 seeds today do i have to let them dry in the sun or anything

also i love the autos there good cos i can plant them all year round and some off them grow not bad i got one good sized plant i think i will get about 10gs mabey more i will post a pic

but yer i think if you growing indoors go with a non auto

Nice mog, i was wondering what happened to you, the outdoor looks great, how old are the ladies?

Everything is female sexed or from clone, I started a set of clones in feb and grew them indoors until April, most of them being the JH x C x BB xA11 which I think I gave you.. Then the rest I of the clones I put outside at the end of may. Now the indoor I vegged for about 2 months and when the pics were taken were 3 weeks into flower

oh ok, i thought ones im growing were the jack herer shoreline herijuana? lol
