My biggest plant died now what?

So I go into my closet to find my biggest plant dying and not saveable. So I removed it and now I have 3 plants. An auto and 2 bag seeds that started at 12/12. They are about 2 inches long and just got there first set of true leaves. Can I go back to 18-6? It's been 3 weeks in flower. Or should I just keep them In flower?

You can go back to 18-6, but it isn't advisable. You'll lose a significant of time waiting for the plant to re-veg, and it can cause your plant to go into shock, so in your position I would continue to flower your remaining plants and put things right on your next run.

Plants don't die overnight - how long had it been since you last checked on your big plant?

EDIT: I misread your post - the seeds you started only have a set (or two) of true leaves? Yeah, I guess it's early enough for you to switch to 18-6 since the seedlings haven't sexed yet. That said, I'm an advocate of trying to keep the environment consistent, so that there's less potential for shocking your plants.

I've been growing weed for 35 years outside just started growing inside 2 years ago so my inside growing knowledge is minimal but I've got to ask WHY would you want to go to 12/12 on such a young plant ......you said it was only 2 inches tall and had just developed it's first set of leaves..please excuse me.... but that just sounds counter productive.

There are actually Quite a few people who successfully grow using a 12/12 from seed life-cycle. You should look it up its actually pretty interesting. A pretty big pro is that you could potentially harvest plants on a pretty frequent schedule using only a single grow space

I may give it a try just to see what it's all about.......I guess if your cramped for space it would be a viable alternative........ thanks for the info......you don't know till you ask!
