this is my baby plant, and i have it growing outside..and i was wondering why the leaves are a lime green in the middle..Is this a problem? thanx:bigjoint:

it doesn't look bad but it might be time to add some nutrients. how old is it? I just had a discoloring problem but once i fertilized and stopped overwatering they took off and are growing nicely.
 
It's only about 4weeks old and its about 3&1/2in tall.
i was thinking maybe cus it's still young..do u think maybe it will gain it color as it grows bigger.?
what kind of fertilizer did u use?

It looks pretty small for 4 weeks. Is it in a spot that gets poor light? or possibly too much water? anyway my plants are about 4 weeks old (maybe a little younger) and I have already started fertilizing. You can try any type of fertilizer with a good percentage of nitrogen (what makes leaves green) the fertilizer will come labeled with numbers such as 20-10-20 the first number will tell you the percentage of nitrogen in the mix. i use 20-10-20 and it works great. If you do not fertilize then the plant might still grow ok but many leaves will turn banana yellow.
 
Start your nutes...at 1/4 strength at 1st... water once every 3-4 days and nute once a week and watch................. luck,.
