my alerts arnt working

iv got my email alert turned off ...... But my site forum alerts arnt working all the time.

iv unwatched and then re watched the threads but its still the same ...... Help please and thx

if you click your name top right hand corner and go to "Alert Preferences"
make sure everything is checked? and than reply back if it is all check and still not working
