thanks brotha. that was my 1st attempt at video editing. I have a 64GB hard drive bay full of videos and high def pics that i'm just waiting to hire someone to organize for me. check out the waterfall video too. it's pretty cool.
 
EPIC day on the water with my new RIU buddy. 6 for 9 on sailfish, 1 350lb. blue marlin, and 6 dorado. Video to follow. Headed back out today. Sick footage of the marlin and chasing down sailfish underwater.
 
Awesome video, Scoob. Don't know how I missed a fishing vid:) Glad our RIU friends had an experience they'll always remember!

exactly. it's a legal catch once the mate has his hand on the leader. then we just cut the line right below the swivel. we only use circle hooks so once you relieve the pressure of the line the hook will fall out within a few hours. if not it will rust away in a few weeks. not harmful to the fish.

before when everyone used "J" hooks fish would get gut hooked or back hooked all the time. a lot more fish died just from the hook. i can't remember the last time a fish died on a circle hook that i've seen. rarely happens anywmore.

Very true scoob ! there are some hooks on the market that rust within 1 day , they say you do more damage trying to get the hook out of the fish
than rather cutting the line as close to the hook as you can , it will be gone in o time , fish back to normal .

Huffin mad dank and swimming 8 miles? Damn, I'm impressed. Makes my 20 mile canyon bike rides makes me look like a kid on training wheels at the park.
 
what's up fellas? back after a short break. been busy and really haven't had the time to get involved in RIU. too busy working and experiencing life. hope all is well. new videos to follow. couple skydiving vids and a few wing suit adventures. looking for the edge of the envelope...still haven't found it; but sometimes the search is the prize. sometimes the edge pushes back too. stay frosty.
