My 4th Grow: First Time Outdoor - Bag seed

Disclaimer: Still new to growing! Started 5 years ago and still learning tons.

First grow was amazing! (Which I documented on RIU here: https://www.rollitup.org/t/my-2nd-grow-4x4-tent-in-garage-7-seeds-of-skunk.895517/)

So was my 2nd grow till the house fire.

3rd failed indoor due to heat and overwatering.

4th begins as of May 10th, 2019 which will be documented here.

2 different strains of bag seed. One I'm calling Sonny OG and the other one is Free K.

Day 0 from seed 5/10/19 The Beginning

Sonny OG seeds stright into 5 of the fabric 1 gallons and a gang of seeds into a 5 gallon fabric I put in a milk crate to move it easy.

The 7 smaller cardboard pots are also bag seed I'm calling Free K. Not sure what I'm doing yet with any other this. Just growing outdoor for the first time and photos for the first time as well.

No germination. Stright to soil as if nature intended it.

Day 4 from seed 5/14/19 4:00 pm Action!?

From seed to stem within 4 days! Light watering each day before I go to work at 9 am. The rest on the 1 gallon pots will pop within the day as well.

Day 5 from seed 5/15/19 3:52 pm Over 50 seedlings

Getting rain in California and no need to really water. More popping and some still trying to get their helmets off and some just breaking soil.

Day 6 from seed 5/16/19 9:00 am 80 plus Seedlings all together!

I was throwing 5 seeds per hole or so in the 5 gallon pot. Will transplant to 1 gallons within the next week or so. The rest of Sonny OG is popped!

Signs of life from 1 of the 7 small pots of Free K.

Day 7 from seed 5/17/19 4:45 pm Free K has all popped!

Glad to see all of the girls popped and now the hard part.....keeping them alive! Wish me luck.

I just got all my 1 gallon buckets from my brother in laws house. I work this weekend so I'll be gone all Saturday and Sunday. If we get no more rain then I'll stop by or have the wife water them.

Everything is looking good. I hope they can make it another few more days till transplanting.

Day 10 from seed 5/20/19 Soils

Some soil I'm going to be running on some of the Sonny OG in 1 gallons.

I used a large amount of this for my seedlings in the 5 gallon and 1 gallon fabrics. Some of the 1 gallons are in Recipe 420 as well

Day 12 from seed 5/22/19 8:20 pm Clearing the yard

I hate my weed wacker! Anywho I've cleared the back yard and will be working on the green house next. Hoping for a 12 by 12.

Day 13 from seed 5/23/19 4:20 pm Transplant!

Don't think I wanna wait for them to get longer. Put majority into 1 gallons.

Had to clean with the pressure washer then a bleach spray down to sanitize, rinse again and sit out to dry.

Rest in peace. For the little ones that didn't make it. Not a bad turn out honestly!

My first photoperiod transplant!

Compacting the bottom half and slightly padded down each plant into a hole and filled to the top for most of them. (Got tired!)

Roots!

Also transplanted all the Free K into 1 gallons.

Slightly watered everything with a gallon and half with 9 tsp. of Fox Farm Big Bloom.

104 plants total if I counted them correctly in my photos. Might be wrong. It's a lot for my first outdoor!

9 hours total for cleaning, mixing and getting it done inside while avoiding mosquitoes...

Day 17 from seed 5/27/19 1:20 pm

Should have watered last night but I got home late. Some are doing great and have a nice color and some have that yellowing color still. More rain the last few days and I plan on moving everything out into the open for the sun soon.

Hot days are coming though. Will need shade so they don't die!

Day 19 from seed 5/29/19 5:20 pm Babies!

Sooooo I noticed this after smoking some SFV OG Kush.

1 of the solo cups of Sonny OG is looking super puny. Kinda tugged on it's cotyledon leaf and it was overwatered as well. :mrgreen:

It's ok I have a couple healthy and hopeful girls.

Day 21 from seed 5/31/19 7:20 pm Chugging Along

Could have given them a feeding but I'll do that Sunday night when I get home from work. Looking great so far.

Day 23 from seed 6/2/19 8:30 pm Oh no!

One of the babies fell over! Not sure if it was cause it was weak or my dogs :cry:

I'll be watering with Grow Big tonight.
