my 1stpost....1 week old sativa strain what lighting cycle pls i am getting mixed ans

i would use a 18 hour on and 4 off for about 3-4 weeks then switch it to 12 and 12 man thats what i would do hope it works for you good luck
 
Depends, sativas take a while to flower and they can get pretty big so if you have limited height/time you might wanna stick it on 12/12 for the whole grow.
If thats not an issue then grow it on 18/6 til you wanna flower, then 12/12.
Just be careful with height gain, my jack flash sativa leaning pheno jumped to 6 times its originl size within the first 3 weeks of 12/12
 
gr8 guys i was on the 18/6 but got a bit confused cos some were sayin 12/12 after a week,i have northen light (indica),nev haze,grapefruit,cinnamon,venus fly trap (nirvana) any tips would be great guys mine are a week old.
