ok...150 w hps is a bit hot for the little one, good you moved it away, most likely was causing the curling up of your leaves, heat stress! humidity can be higher too( 60% veg) which probably added to the heat stress.

i forgot the ask the man in the shop but read the packet and dosent say anything about nutes so im guessing it dont, ahh i thought it might of been to close they didnt burn so wasent 100% but dropped the light bak and they seem abit better going to take it back to 17inch just to be safe

is it this...

CANNA Terra Seedmix is perfectly suited for germinating the seeds of your favourite plant. It has a homogeneous, stable structure consisting a.o. of very clean coco coir that ensures a higher retainability of water, which gives the seeds the best chance of germinating correctly. CANNA Terra Seedmix is also particularly suitable for use when rooting cuttings.

yeah thats the stuff im using picked it up from my local hydro shop he said its a good starter soil :)

for seedlings yes....so it has no nutrient in soil.....so you need to add, just like you said..... at 1/4 strength...and ph of water/nutes should be at 5.8 for coco. feed ASAP!

fanx man, and cheers for your help it dosent say anything about it being coco on the packet so with out u i wouldent of been none the wiser +rep :D

that's usually why they turn yellow so fast...coco is like hydro and needs to be fed ... and most are confused about coco ph needs to be @ 5.8......and with soil is (6.5)

you can use vinegar to lower ph

yes you could but i think a feed/ feed/ water would be better until they green up a bit ;)

make sure you let soil dry out before next feed/watering.
